Well Hello there!!

Its been a while since we last updated this blog. Now with Facebook being so popular, we've kinda neglected this website... nt-nt-nt...

Well alot has happend since my last post. Daniel is growing so fast, he is already 5 months old! He is staring on solids now and is racing ahead with his fruit and veg. He loves food - just like his parents, he-he.

We've been getting into the end of year parties and Christmas preperations, its been real crazy and Ive had my hands full. Johannes, Daniel and myself are going up to DBN for Christmas, so if you gonna be there - come meet up with us if you can. Looking forward to it.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!

Hello!!

Well it looks like things are warming up here now, its been a nasty winter!

The sun has been so nice and warm, we all starting to bare our arms and legs now,

WA-HOO!

Daniel is sleeping through beautifully now, thank goodness!! He went for his 8 weeks injections and survived! Or should I say, I survived. (he-he) He is so complete in himself, lacking in nothing, its so precious, I love it.
Johannes is studying for his Level 2 in Rope Access at the moment, so thats another notch in his education for work and experience.

He is now 7 weeks and growing by the day. This picture was taking when he was 3 weeks old. Ag baby... so cute!

Beautiful Cape Town

Its so beautiful here at the moment. Winter is our rainy season and so everything gets really green and all the flowers come out in full glory.

We went for a drive last weekend and saw that the fields had started blooming with flowers, the contrast of colours from the vineyards to slopping hills is just too stunning. So thats when we decided to get out and take a pic of the flowers just to share with you. There is a really fun story behind how we got this picture... put it this way, there was alot of mud, slush and stinky dam water. he-he...

Welcome Daniel Isaac du Toit

Hello!!
Well, here he is everyone, finally. He is the most precious little soul, he has just turned our small existence upside down. Its really true when they say, "Wait until its your own baby..." He has just stolen our hearts. He has a lovely temperament, very peaceful and gentle - like his Dad! A real little love big, adoring all the attention and love. Such a darling.

The ceaser went well, its quite an experience being conscious in theatre! Johannes had the privilege of watching the whole procedure. It really is a miracle!

ETA ON BABY DU TOIT!!

Baby duToit is due on the 27 June, but circumstances have made it necessary for me to have a ceaser, on the 22nd!! THATS REALLY SOON! We very exited and feel confident about the operation. Our Dr. has been fantastic and has really looked after us well. Baby will be approximately 3.4k's and 39.5 weeks old when he arrives!

Here is me at 38 weeks,,, gosh, would never have believed that my tummy could stretch that much!
